Our week was quite eventful last week. We finished our second week of school, and Ellie is doing better with her handwriting. She is tolerating the new handwriting workbook much better than just pages of letters to write. She is still enjoying math too. The kid amazes me every day with what she knows.
Our trip to Arago (Coquille) went well. The baby shower was a huge success, and it was great to see our friends again. Ellie and Miles had a great time Thursday evening and Friday morning playing with all the kids. We also went out to the property that Lynn's parents still own and picked wild blackberries. I have a pie in the oven as I type. There weren't alot out there, but enough to get a pie. Brenda gave us a bunch of apples from their tree too, so I will most likely be make another pie or two in the near future.
We finally got some rain today. It was really nice to see. I have been getting tired of the heat and the nice weather. Sometimes it is nice to have a cooler, rainy day. It hasn't rained a whole lot, but enough to get the ground wet.
This week shows some promise of being a quiet, more "normal" week for us. MOPS starts on Thursday, but that is really about the only thing unusual. I keep saying some day my life will slow down and I can get some of the "extra" stuff I want to do around the house done. Hopefully it will slow down before I turn 80!
